The Evidence

If "Religion is the Opiate of the Masses," Science is the Opiate of the Intellectual Classes.

Do you really believe you're an Evolving Ape, or that God will Take Your Call? It's time to end this destructive conflict. It is the root cause of all of humanity's holy wars, holocausts, jihads, violent atheistic revolutions, and the radicalization of liberal vs. conservative politics.

Evil: Truth vs. Myths

Pretending that God continued to interact with humanity after the destruction of the temple and fall of Jerusalem requires believers to attribute everything that happens in their lives, both positive and negative, to either God or Satan. This type of insanity continues in “biblical religions” to this day. We see it in the creation of the modern state of Israel,[1] the Christian mass suicide instigated by Jim Jones in Guyana, and the endless suicide bombers of Islam. It is also manifest when a sports figure raises his hand to thank God for helping him score a goal. I have often wondered why they don’t point down and blame Satan when they make an error. When a believer is rescued from a life-threatening catastrophe, the survivor will often be seen on television thanking God, and saying: “He must have a special purpose for my life.” On the other hand, when someone praying for a healing dies, or religion causes something like the Inquisition, Crusades, Waco, Jonestown, Masada, 9/11, or the Holocaust believers will ask; “Where was God?” These religious delusions have motivated believers to destroy entire civilizations of people, magnificent cities, or irreplaceable objects of art that their religion has declared to be evil. Muslims theologians see America as a “Great Satan;” therefore, some of their followers felt justified in stealing commercial airliners full of people and crashing them into the World Trade Center. Others have encouraged their children to become suicide bombers. Christian parents have even killed their own children, because they thought they were possessed by demons. To end this very destructive religious delusion, we must determine; what is evil.

What is Evil?
The first evil occurred when a group of angels, led by the archangel Lucifer,  rebelled against God’s authority. These were very powerful beings. As punishment, God cast them out of heaven, and gave them dominion over the physical creation. These were the gods, demigods, and demons referred to in biblical history. They created and ruled the advanced civilizations of the ancient world.

From this we can learn that Evil is the ability to stand in opposition to, or engage in conflict with the Almighty God. Humans do not possess the power to challenge the authority of the Almighty God; therefore, they do not posses the power to be evil. They can have evil thoughts, be evil / immoral to each other, but they do not possess the power to overthrow  the Almighty God. The second coming of Messiah, in AD70, destroyed the satanic deities who possessed that power. One of the main reasons for the Messiah coming to the earth; was to destroy Satan and his minions, and make humans the preeminent beings of the modern world. Messiah said:

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Mat. 5:5. See Ps. 37:9-11, 35-36, Gen. 3:15.

The Apostle Paul told his disciples that God was about to destroy Satan:

…. I would have you wise concerning good and evil. For the God of peace will shortly crush Satan, and imprison him under your feet…. Para. Rom. 16:20.

The Greek word translated “shortly” in this verse, indicates: imminent action.[2] Satan is imprisoned in the bottomless pit at the center of the earth. For all practical purposes, he is dead. Evil no longer exists on the earth. Humans do not possess the supernatural power to be evil. In our ignorance, we are capable of being criminal, depraved, or immoral in our dealings with each other, but we do not possess the power to be evil.

The Knowledge of Good and Evil
In Genesis chapter two, God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden, and told him not to take the knowledge of good and evil. If you wanted your children to know the difference between good and evil, where would you take them to acquire that knowledge?  Do religions teach that knowledge? Do the liberal atheists in academia declare their adversaries to be evil, racist, homophobes, and deplorable bigots? Do these intellectuals divide us between good and evil? Did that knowledge cause all of the holy wars, holocausts, jihads and violent atheistic revolution of history? Is it not the root cause of atheistic and religious violence? Do religious terrorists justify their genocidal acts of violence as eliminating evil? Is it time to stop calling those with whom we disagree “Evil.” Think about it.

The Knowledge of Good and Evil

What is Good?
Good is being loyal to, and living in harmony with, your heavenly and earthly creators.[1]

What is Evil?
Evil is being disloyal, by refusing to acknowledge the authority of our heavenly or earthly creators. Humans do not possess the power to challenge the Almighty God; however, we do have the ability to be disobedient, disloyal, and disrespectful to our earthly creators in this life, and to our Heavenly Creator in the next.

What was Lucifer / Satan’s offence?
The Archangel Lucifer refused to acknowledge God’s Sovereignty. He instigated legions of angels to rebel against their Heavenly Creator, and tried to take God’s throne by force of arms. Lucifer refused to repent, so God changed his name to Satan and cast him and his legions out of heaven to rule the physical universe. By refusing to acknowledge God’s Supremacy, Lucifer / Satan committed the unforgivable sin. Mat. 12:31-32 .

What was Adam’s offence?
Adam disobeyed the instructions of his Heavenly Creator; however, he repented, received forgiveness, and God promised to restore him, and all of his descendants, to life in Paradise.

What was Cain’s offence?
Cain rebelled against his heavenly and earthly creators. He murdered his brother Abel, and physically attacked his mother. In direct opposition to his father’s wishes, he married his sister Luluwa, rejected Adam’s authority, moved away, and began to produce a race of rebellious children under the dominion of Satan.  It is not recorded in the Bible that Cain repented.

What was the offence of Judas?
Judas betrayed his Heavenly Creator to gain acceptance among the religious leaders in Jerusalem. It is not recorded in the Bible that Judas repented.

What is the offence of disobedient children?
Disobedient children rebel against their earthly creators, disobey their instructions, and betray them to gain acceptance by their peers, teachers, gang leaders, a girl / boyfriend, psychiatrist, or, in some cases, their religious leaders etc.. In that, they disregard the admonition of God to the ancient Israelites to “Honor thy father and thy mother….”

Know this:
Your relationship with your parents (earthly creators) is the biblical standard for assessing your standing with God. Being respectful to your parents is good training for your loyalty test under the Kingdom (Government) of God in the next life. The Ten Commandments that God gave to the ancient Israelites are no longer in effect; notwithstanding, it behooves us to:

Honor thy father and thy mother…. Ex.20:12, Lev. 19:3, Deut. 5:16-22, Eph. 6:1-12.

See the link, The Family: Truth vs. Myth  on the Navigator.

What is the message of the Bible?
The message of the Bible is: God will not tolerate disloyalty, rebellion, or disobedience in His Domain. Good vs. Evil is God’s loyalty test. Life and Death are the consequences of that test. If you would like to see an example of Pure Justice, look up the Divine Judgment of Ananias and Sapphira, in Act. 5:1-11.

Satan, the source of all Evil, is dead, He was destroyed by the Second Comin of Messiah in a.d.70. The only place he still lives is in the fear-filled minds and beliefs of the religious.

[1] God is our Heavenly Creator, and our parents are our earthly creators.

[1] The Kingdom of Judah was the last government to rule Jerusalem, not Israel.

[2] The Greek word translated “shortly” in this verse is a combination of the prep. “en” indicating imminent, and the words “teresis,” “soros,” and “soreuo” indicating destruction and  immediate imprisonment. The best translation I have been able to glean from the combination is “to shortly crush Satan’s forces, and place them in prison under your feet. Satan’s imprisonment at the center of the earth, is merely speculation on the content of the verse.
