The terms liberal and conservative are being used as euphemisms to avoid addressing the god / no-god jihad in academia. As long as we refuse to address and settle the core conflict, we will never know peace.

Liberal vs. Conservative is science vs. religion. These political cults radicalize government, education, and politics, and turn us against each other. A conflict that goes unresolved for centuries is pathological. Liberal vs. conservative is the symptom, science vs. religion is the illness, History is the Cure.

Liberal, as defined on www.dictionary.com:

• favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
• favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, esp. as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.

Atheistic science is a dictatorial ideology that bans any discussion of God or religion from public schools, yet force feeds every student with theological atheism and evolution.

Atheistic science caused the violent revolution of; Russia, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Cuba, killed all who opposed atheism, and enslaved those countries in tyrannical dictatorships. It caused the Cold War, the Arms Race, and left us with stockpiles of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons that are falling into the hands of theological terrorists.

True Liberals trust the power of ideas and intellect to produce change. They do not seek to impose a universal concept through political or dictatorial power.

Conservative, as defined on www.dictionary.com:

• disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
• (initial capital letter ) of, pertaining to, or characteristic of Conservative Jews or Conservative Judaism.

Religious Conservatism is rooted in unfounded attempts to adhere to laws imposed by gods in the theocratic monarchies of the ancient world. Those ridged beliefs keep us from understanding the Truth inherent in the fall of those gods and collapse of their theocracies. That conservatism, caused all of the holy wars, holocausts, jihads, and terrorism of modern history.

True Conservatives trust the traditional concepts of individual liberty, economic freedom, truth, and civic responsibility to produce a moral society through intellectual debate. They do not seek to impose the morals of the ancient theocracies on a modern society through political power.

Political Liberals must liberate themselves from the the cult of atheism. These radicals have so debased the noble concept of Liberalism that Democrat politicians have recently been forced to start calling themselves "Progressives."

Political Conservatives must liberate themselves from the cults of religion. Their fanaticism and violence has so sullied the the good name of God, that people run from the concept.

While there is still time, we must face The Awful Truth. Liberal vs. Conservative is a euphemism for academia's extremely destructive God vs. no-god Civil War! That "intellectual" jihad cannot be resolved by politicians or the military; it must be resolved where it began, in Academia!
