In the ancient world, our ancestors were mere chattel. They could be bought and sold as slaves, forced to participate in mortal combat as entertainment for the gods and demigods or used as human sacrifices in religious rituals.

From that lowly position when the ancient world collapsed leaving us alone on the earth in the deep ignorance of the Dark Ages, man has risen to the point where he can walk in the heavens, like the gods before him, and is slowly reaching out to the stars.

The pictures to the left are designed to show you some of the wonderful achievements of mankind since we inherited the earth from the ancient gods.
