Human Slavery was part of the economic system of the ancient world. It was not based on race, all humans were subject to enslavement by the tyrannical beings who ruled the theocratic monarchies in that age. There was one exception, the God of Abraham did not permit the ancient Israelites to own slaves. There is no word for "slavery," in the Bible.

With the collapse of the ancient world, Europeans were the first humans to overthrow the remnants of those monarchies and theocracies. They formed democracies and republics based on freedom and individual rights, and Freed the Slaves. As they conquered and colonized the third world, these revolutionary concepts spread around the globe. The only countries that continue to implement the ancient laws regarding slavery, are ones that were not subject to colonization by White Europeans, or those that re-instituted the practice when they achieved independence. In the United States, it caused a horrendous civil war.

These changes were not implemented with perfection; nevertheless,

White Europeans Did Not Invent Slavery; They Ended It!
