The Awful Truth
|
|
| |
| |
The phrase an awful truth describes newly discovered facts
that expose an error in our current thinking. We use the word awful, even in cases where the new reality
produced by such a revelation is beneficial, because innovations that challenge our core beliefs frighten us.
This apprehension stems not from the truth itself; it is our fear of change that makes even a benevolent new
concept seem awful.
For instance, prior to the Renaissance, scientists mistakenly believed that the earth was located at the
center of the universe. The Church hierarchy adopted this geocentric theory, and it became a tenet of early
Christianity. When the Italian astronomer Galileo produced evidence for the heliocentric, or sun-centered, solar
system, Church scientists were confronted with the awful truth that the earth was a planet orbiting the sun.
Unwilling to relinquish their long-held belief, these scientists rejected the evidence and continued to support
the geocentric system. They then conspired with the Church fathers, who feared that this contradiction of dogma
would weaken Christian faith, and ultimately had Galileo censured by the Inquisition. Nevertheless, before long
even the Church scientists were forced to accept the reality of the sun-centered solar system. When they did, the
"awful truth" they had so feared produced a truly benevolent reality that has allowed man to calibrate an
accurate calendar, optimize his use of the agricultural seasons and explore the globe. In addition, contrary to
the irrational fears of the Church fathers, accurate knowledge of this delicately balanced system has only
increased mankind's awe for its Creator. So you can see that an awful truth, or the discovery of disturbing new
facts that force us to correct erroneous thinking, will always prove to be beneficial.
That is the type of benevolent truth revealed in this book. Yet, because it contradicts the orthodox beliefs
of science and religion, it will, no doubt, stir the irrational fears of experts in both fields. Nevertheless, I
am convinced that what you are about to read will solve the great mystery of our existence and, like the
discovery of the heliocentric solar system, advance the knowledge and well-being of all mankind. |

Atheism vs. Theology ~ They Can Both Be Wrong!
|
|
| |
| |
In the deep ignorance of the dark ages, an ideological dispute
split academia into two antagonistic philosophical beliefs -- atheism and theology. Theologians affirmed the mainline
religions, while the atheists spawned Communism, Marxism, Socialism and Fascism. World leaders adopted these hostile
precepts causing all of the holy wars and violent revolutions of history, including; the atheistic revolutions of
Russia and China, the Cold War, the Arms Race, the Korean and Vietnam wars, the Holocaust and the World Trade Center
to name just the most obvious. If we are to end this volatile ideological crisis, academics will have to admit that
their intellectual jihad is at the heart of the problem and that nothing short of a reunification of science and
theology will bring an end to the violence. |

We Are Not Evolving Primates, Nor Under The Care Of A Personal God
|
|
| |
| |
Neither of these flawed beliefs describes the reality in which
we live, nor do they give us peace. To the contrary, they have produced inner turmoil and worldwide conflict.
Notwithstanding, academia is indoctrinating the next generation of world leaders with these very same beliefs. If
those who run our schools continue to indoctrinate future world leaders with the antagonistic ideologies that caused
all of our past wars, what hope is there for peace?
The failure of science and religion to produce a definitive truth leaves us dangerously divided and confused.
We must begin to think of what will replace the conflicting concepts of atheism and theology.
The Awful Truth provides a verifiable explanation for human existence, with definitive answers on both our origins
and future. |

Chapter One - Apes or Aliens? |
|
| |
| |
Most ancient civilizations, both biblical and pagan, have
historical records stating that supernatural beings transported our ancestors to the earth from distant galaxies.
In the case of ancient Israel, biblical history records that man was created in a place called "Eden" and later
placed on the earth. Unsure of the exact location of Eden, early church leaders allowed that the place described in
Genesis was probably located in some yet unexplored, remote corner of the planet. This position avoided controversy,
but it totally ignored the extraterrestrial implications of biblical history. Scientists made a similar mistake when
they adopted the inherently flawed theory of evolution and discounted as myth all of the biblical and pagan histories
which describe our alien origins. |

Chapter Two - The Fall Of The Gods |
|
| |
| |
Biblical and pagan scribes wrote of a coming battle of the gods
that would destroy the supernatural beings that ruled the ancient civilizations, leaving the meek (or lowly humans)
to inherit their place as the new rulers of the planet.
This chapter reveals that, precisely as prophesied, a great battle of the supernatural forces coincided with the collapse
of the ancient world. The eyewitness accounts of that battle in the skies, as recorded by the historians Josephus and
Tacitus, are included.
Josephus, the Jewish historian, was on the scene and chronicled all of these events with meticulous detail.
Tacitus, the Roman historian, was not on the scene but he records the testimony of the Romans who witnessed these
events, including the battle of the gods in the skies, and they harmonize with the chronology of Josephus. |

Chapter Three - Humans Inherit The Earth |
|
| |
| |
With the fall of the gods, humans were left alone on the earth in
the deep ignorance of the dark ages. We did indeed inherit the role of "rulers of the earth." Ever since, there has
been a relentless effort to throw off the tyrannical theocracies and monarchies of the ancients, replacing them with
democracies and republics which are based on human dignity and individual rights. We also threw off the economic
system of the ancients, which was based on slavery and taxation without representation.
A section of this chapter, titled "The Ideological Cauldron," reveals how our failure to understand the
implications of the collapse of the ancient world caused all the holy wars, holocausts, jihads and violent atheistic
revolutions of history. |

Chapter Four - We Can't ALL be Right |
|
| |
| |
There are more than 28,000 denominations of Christianity alone.
Judaism, Islam, and other religions are similarly fragmented, confused, contentious and often violent. Add to that the atheistic backlash against
this confusion and you can see that we can't all be right about God and human existence.
We have all been indoctrinated by either atheism or theology. Their flawed beliefs have now become our "truths,"
so it will be very difficult for us to admit that we're wrong. Nevertheless, it is time to face the reality that
science and religion have failed to discover a definitive truth on human existence. The destructive consequences of
their failure can no longer be tolerated. We must solve the mystery of the biblical and pagan gods and their
connection to human existence. The key to that mystery is the collapse of the ancient world. |

Chapter Five - Helping The Believers Be Honest |
|
| |
| |
Using empirical evidence, this chapter debunks the false claims
of both atheistic evolution and theology. |

Chapter Six - Paradigm Lock:
|
|
| |
Educated Ignorance and the Amoral Majority
|
|
| |
| |
This chapter makes the case that our brightest minds
have all been indoctrinated to believe the erroneous concepts of either atheism or theology; therefore, they view everything from a flawed
perspective. That skewed perception of reality at the highest levels of academia and government is extremely dangerous.
As it is impossible to get a faulty computer program to accept correct information; so too, our flawed
indoctrination will not allow us to accept new or factual information on God and human existence. We must begin the
very difficult task of reprogramming our internal computers. |

Chapter Seven - No Place To Hide
|
|
| |
| |
This chapter reveals how advances in technology are making it
impossible to continue to ignore the glaring flaws in our current scientific and theological beliefs. The discovery
presented in The Awful Truth is merely a part of the fallout from that reality. When it is fully understood, it will
contribute greatly to our inner and universal peace. |
