Tolerance: Truth vs. Myth
The Myth: Political Correctness and “tolerance” will bring peace.
The Truth: tolerating contradictory ideologies instigates violence.
Liberal vs. Conservative, Science vs. Religion, God vs. no-God, Left vs. Right.
These volatile intellectual beliefs caused all of the holy wars, holocausts, jihads, and violent atheistic revolutions of history. Academia would have us believe that it is ok to continue to indoctrinate our children into opposing sides of these ideological conflicts, as long as we encourage them to be “politically correct” and “tolerant.”
Liberal vs. Conservative
If we manage to get some of the religious to agree to be “tolerant” of opposing beliefs about God it may alleviate some of the violence, but it will not end the conflict. The jihad, Holy War, struggle continues in the endless political battle, where these radicals disguise themselves as “Liberals and Conservatives.” This was very apparent in the “Cold War” between the atheistic Soviet Union, and the Judeo-Christian West. Detente and Mutual Mass Destruction forced the liberals and conservatives to be “Tolerant.” As a result, the conflict was somewhat less violent, but just as destructive. It bankrupted both sides, and left us with deteriorating stockpiles of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons that are now falling into the hands of theological terrorist.
Tolerance
Science and religion would have us “believe” that if we just learn to tolerate their flawed and contradictory Dark Age theories and beliefs, we will have peace. In other words, science vs. religion isn’t the problem; humanity’s intolerance is the problem.
Intellectuals, who live in glass houses, love tolerance
Calling for tolerance allows the intellectual class to avoid taking responsibility for the violence instigated by the contradictory theories and beliefs of science vs. religion. Proponents of these ideologies then proceed to blame scapegoats like hate, fanaticism, terrorism, and the ignorance of those whom they have indoctrinated for the violence. As a result, they escape scrutiny of their culpability, and do not have to think or change. Science and religion can’t both be right, but they can both be sincerely wrong. It is time to face The Awful Truth:
Science and Religion are both wrong about God and Human Existence.
History reveals that “tolerating” flawed ideologies will lead to violence. Do you really “believe” You’re an Evolving Ape, or that God will take your call?
It is time for governments to demand that the Ivory Tower “Intellectuals” in academia drop their patronizing calls for tolerance and solve the “mystery” of human existence before the violence goes nuclear. Human existence is not a “mystery;” it’s a chronological history verified by empirical evidence. Scientists and theologians use select portions of that history when it suits their agenda; however, they disparage the portions that disprove their Dark Age theories and beliefs as “myth.”
